Dubai Shipbuilding is moving to Dubai’s Maritime City

The area of land is over 11,196 m2 and the move is seen by both parties to be an important step forward in promoting the area as a major maritime hub.

Maritime World has expressed the fact that it is keen to promote local and international players within the city and to promote the Maritime City as a collection point “offering wide ranging choices for the industry.”

Bader bin Mubarak, deputy chairman, Dubai Ship Building, said: “Being a part of the maritime history of Dubai and representing the national spirit, we at Dubai Ship Building aim to partner with the pioneering group of Maritime World to further strengthen the maritime industry within the region and bring into focus national proficiency.”

Dubai Maritime City is adjacent to Dry Docks World, Port Rashid and the famous Dubai creek – it aims to bring together all maritime related businesses and services in one industrial area – a unique concept in the region.
