Dutch group acquires WaterMota

Headquartered in Twello, the B&N Group consists of Brinkmann & Niemeijer Motoren, De Maas, Sound Proof Systems and B&N Foreign Activities. The group specialises in diesel engines, power plants, pump sets, power packs and sound absorbing cases, supplying to the industrial market as well as the shipping and recreational boating markets.

WaterMota, which was founded in 1911, is the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for Craftsman Marine, Doosan Infracore, D-I Industries, Hyundai SeasAll, JMP and Whisper Power. There is also a sales and service agreement with Azcue for England and Wales.

WaterMota MD, Mike Beacham, said: “The acquisition gives WaterMota the strength of a larger group which is extremely highly regarded and gives us a comprehensive presence in the industrial market which is one of our growth areas. WaterMota will remain an individual company but as a group we will be able to share knowledge and draw on the strengths of the other companies and staff within the group.”
