Early delivery from Hyundai Mipo
Hyundai Mipo Dockyard in South Korea completed two ships ahead of schedule.
The shipbuilder named the lead ship of a seven-ship series of 37,000DWT product carriers ordered by OMI, as the Loire. This tanker was completed two months early thanks to continuing improvements in shipbuilding technology at the yard. Ship particulars are 183 metres long, 27.34 metres wide and a depth of 16.7 metres.
Meanwhile, the shipbuilder also christened a 35,000DWT product carrier ordered by Schoeller. Named Chabua Amiredjibi, this is the sixth of ten ordered by the Cyprus-based ship owner.
