Eniram to increase Azipod efficiency

The dynamic pod optimization, based on Eniram’s vessel management system (VMS) has been proven to optimize the relation of the Azipod angles and will enable ship operators sailing Azipod propelled vessels to make further increases on fuel savings already realized using traditional Azipod systems. Results from a collaborative study carried out last year by Eniram and ABB exceeded the originally anticipated fuel savings proving that the combined technology has the potential to truly increase vessel efficiency.
