Everllence wins BC Ferries engine deal

The agreement covers four shipsets, each comprising two 6L32/44CR and two 8L32/44CR engines, for vessels currently under construction at China Merchants Industry Weihai Shipyard.

The ferries are part of BC Ferries’ New Major Vessel class, with the first unit scheduled for delivery in 2029 and all four expected to be operational by 2031.

For Everllence, the project represents a strategic opportunity to expand its footprint in Canada while showcasing its engine technology and lifecycle support capabilities.
