Fluid contamination monitor
An in-line sensor which monitors the level of contamination in hydraulic fluid has been introduced by Arma Supplies. The company has designed and built two flushing rigs which it says can flush from 1 lit/min up to 450 lit/min and detect contaminates as small as three microns.
The sensor, once installed, requires a fluid condition monitor called the CM 20 to be plugged in to it to indicate problems and allow for maintenance planning.
