GE Shipping orders two more bulkers

Great Eastern Shipping Co Ltd in India has placed an order for building two 57,000 DWT dry bulk carriers. The order has been placed with Cosco (Zhoushan) Shipyard Co Ltd and the vessels are expected to be delivered by second quarter of 2010-11. This is the second contract GE Shipping has placed from the same shipbuilder. Last month it ordered two dry bulk carriers for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2009/10.
