Globe Wireless expands Maritime

Globe Wireless has commissioned a new terrestrial digital node in Darwin, Australia for its Maritime Data Network. The new node increases the network to 17 nodes linked world-wide. The network provides communications to and from ships at sea throughout the world.

The 17 digital nodes are all controlled from a network operations centre located in Northern California.
