Goltens opens service facility in Houston

The centre was established to be closer to the expanding customer base in the US Gulf, and is based in the largest port in the US, with a cross section of offshore, merchant, petrochemical and industrial customers.

The new location is focused on delivering specialised diesel engine services, including in-situ machining and green technologies. The facility has a range of large-scale workshop machining equipment to support reconditioning and overhaul operations, and a team of skilled engine service engineers and specialists.

General manager at Houston is Mark Evans, whose over 20 years of experience supporting the marine services industry includes positions at Wärtsilä and Rolls-Royce Marine.
