Industry DatabaseDaewoo Shipbuilding has clinched four 4,000TEU class container ships from Hamburg Sud at a total contract price of $384 million. In April this year, the German shipowner placed an order for six 5,200TEU container ships with the same yard.
The four newbuildings will be delivered by December 2008.
