Hanjin profits reduced

Hanjin Heavy Industries had its profit reduced for the first half this year. The shipbuilder earned $1.05 billion in turnover compared with $870 million during the same period last year. The Busan-based shipbuilder posted an operating profit of $28.5 million from January to June this year compared with $33.6 million last year.

Hanjin has won orders for 18 ships of about 1 million GT for the first half this year.
