Havyard signs contract for PSV

Havyard claims that the 832 has defined a new segment of medium sized PSVs, which it says offer higher cargo capacities, better flexibility, better sea keeping abilities and lower fuel consumption than competing designs. Havyard 832 L is a further development of the previously designed and delivered Havyard 832s.

The newbuilding is to be delivered in August 2011 and will be built at Havyard Leirvik AS in Norway at a cost of over $48 million.
