HHI delivers first compressor to own yard

HHI says it has been developing a range of compressors since 2011, and the first complete air compressor package comprised three units of 1,500 hp air compressors, a pump and an air dryer. The units are targeted mainly at industrial users, including shipyards.

The newly developed 2,500hp model HTC2500 is said to feature high compressibility, noise and surge control, and more than 20 years durability. The company plans to complete development of its 600hp and 900hp compressors in 2014, and aims to produce more than 200 units and secure orders to the value of US$13 million this year.
