High speed trio for NorFerries

Norwegian ferry company NorFerries plans to order three new high-speed cargo vessels to operate on freight routes between Norway, France, Spain and Britain. According to NorFerries chairman, Sigurd Steen, the company plans to order two vessels of 180 metres capable of carrying 94 trailers and one larger vessel of 210 metres length with a 175 trailer capacity. These new ro-ro ships will have a speed in excess of 30 knots and will ply between the ports of Drammen in Norway, Boulogne-sur-Mer in France, Santander in Spain and Sheerness in the UK.
