Høglund to provide IAS for H2 CSOVs

The CSOVs, to be built by Damen in Vietnam, are destined for the offshore wind industry, marking a significant new venture for Høglund.

In partnership with Eekels, the system integrator and main supplier of the hybrid-electrical system, Høglund will deliver a comprehensive IAS which comprises:

• Alarm & monitoring system
• Automation & control system
• Power management system and battery control
• Power failure control
• Fast data capture
• Ship performance monitor

The ‘Elevation Series’ is a revolutionary new design with increased capabilities and flexibility compared to existing vessels, says Damen Shipyards. The hydrogen-powered vessels are 87 metres long, 20 metres wide and can accommodate 120 crew. The series will be delivered from 2025.
