HZ clinches Panamax bulker pair

Hudong Zhonghua (HZ) Shipyard in China clinched two 75,000DWT bulk carriers from the Greece shipping company Cardiff Marine. They will be delivered in March and June 2008. Ship particulars are 225m in length, 32.26m in breadth and 12.5m in depth and the newbuildings will be powered by a B&W 5S60MC-C diesel engine manufactured by Hudong Heavy Machinery.
