IHI to set up factory in Vietnam

Japan?s leading shipbuilder, IHI Corporation, will establish a 100% foreign-owned factory in Vietnam?s northern city of Haiphong. The move makes the first time that a large foreign shipbuilder has established a facility specialising in ship design in Vietnam. The factory is expected to represent 25% of the design of commercial ships for the corporation over the next three or four years.
