Italy hopes to list Fincantieri later this year

Italy’s minister for economic development Claudio Scajola aims to list state-owned shipyard Fincantieri SpA “if possible by the fall”, according to a report in Sunday’s La Stampa that quoted the minister. The listing of Fincantieri has so far been blocked by some unions, mainly the FIOM-CGIL.

“The timing will be that possible, like every time once faces themes of this kind. It may be the fall, it may be the spring; the fundamental thing is that we get there,” said Scajola.
