Jack-up propulsion contract

GMS Enterprise will be kitted out with the Quadro Drive VFD. Included with the switchboards is NES’ Black Out Safety System (B.O.S.S.) and Remote Operating System (R.A.S.), which will enable NES to support GMS with technical help and assistance wherever the vessel might be operating.

NES will also be responsible for all the electrical engineering, system integration and project plan, along with delivering and integrating the vessel’s automation system (IAS).

The vessel will be outfitted at GMS’s own yard in Abu Dhabi.

This will be NES’ third self propelled jack-up rig contract in two years. NES delivers a highly redundant ring net solution, which enables these vessels to operate with smaller generators, motors and thrusters without compromising on the performance of the vessel. Addition, the low harmonic distortion levels of the electrical system enhance the vessel’s reliability and efficiency.
