Jinling scoops eight MPCs

Jinling Shipyard in China is rumoured to have won an order for eight 17,700DWT multi purpose ships from Spliethoff in the Netherlands. They will be delivered from November 2008 to December 2009. Ship particulars are 156.5m in length, 22.8m in breadth and a service speed of 17 knots. A 120 tonne and a 55 tonne crane will be installed.
