Kockumation signs deal with Kockums

Kockumation, maker of the Loadmaster vessel loading system, has signed deal with Kockums to make use of its Tribon shipbuilding design and information system.

Kockumation says that the deal means that it can automatically access the details of the majority of the world`s merchant fleets, with calculations produced using a geometric 3-D model. Loadmaster programs can then be designed while a ship is being built, says the company, meaning that the software can be delivered to new builds, with all appropriate certification, as soon as the ship is delivered.
