Korean shipbuilders capture new orders

Daewoo Shipbuilding said that it clinched two orders for VLCC?s, one from TCC in Taiwan and another from World Wide in Hong Kong. Both vessels will be delivered during 2007.

Safmarine of Belgium exercised an option for a 4,200TEU container ship at Hyundai Heavy Industries for delivery during 2007.

Shina Shipbuiling secured an order for two 37,000DWT product carriers from Unicorn for delivery in 2007 and 2008.
