Krill-vessel option for Aker

Aker BioMarine and Aker Yards have agreed an option for building a 144 metre long 27 metre wide vessel for harvesting of krill. Designed by Skipsteknish in Alesund, the value of the vessel, including all processing and extraction equipment, is approximately $170 million and delivery is planned in November 2009. The final contract is planned to be signed before February 2007.
