Seatruck Precision is scheduled to enter service in June 2012, joining her three sisters on Seatruck’s unaccompanied freight routes across the Irish Sea. The first newbuilding, Seatruck Progress, now operates on the Liverpool – Dublin route. The second, Seatruck Power, joined the same route in February. The third newbuilding, Seatruck Performance, was launched in January and will begin operating the Irish Sea route in April.
The new FSG vessels have a length of 142m, breadth of 25m and a deadweight of 5,300 tonnes. They each have a capacity of 151 units – 35 more than the earlier ‘P Class’ ships.
