Litton wins major orders

Litton Marine Systems is to supply integrated bridge systems for seven 27,000g bulk/container carriers under construction at Gdynia Shipyard for Westwood Shipping Company. Deliveries are set for 2002-2003. There is also an option for one additional ship. Each vessel will receive a complete Litton Pilot Series integrated bridge with DNV type-approved ECDIS. The contracts include equipment supply, installation, commissioning, spares, technical support and crew training. The company has also recently won a major order for 12 integrated bridge installations at shipyards in China, with options for up to eight additional ships.
