LR and Napa announce software contract

Napa Ltd and Lloyd?s Register(LR) have signed a landmark contract to extend the use of NAPA, Napa Ltd?s ship modelling software package. LR has adopted the NAPA system for statutory compliance calculations for all classed ships throughout its global network of offices.

Napa Ltd is also committed to help develop new NAPA ?Manager? applications specifically for the use of LR. These new applications will be made available to other NAPA users, such as shipyards, making it easier for them to ensure that LR-classed ships are in compliance with statutory rules and regulations and reducing approval times.
