Lubricant for crude oil washing machines

Hydrox 8EP is an emulsifiable lubricant designed by Vickers for use with crude oil washing machines. Where conventional oils are used gear box failure can occur if moisture from condensate contaminates the oil, says the compay. Hydrox 8EP absorbs moisture, forming an emulsion which continues to provide the required standard of lubrication and which also protects against corrosion, says Vickers.
