Martek pressure warning system

The Sentry from Martek Marine is a cargo tank pressure monitoring system designed in compliance with SOLAS II Reg 59, providing early warning of under or over pressurisation in oil and chemical tankers. The system uses pressure transducers installed on deck which continually monitor tank pressure and provides indications of the measured pressure reading for each tank, together with audio and visual information on alarm conditions. The system includes 14 programmable relay outputs for remote alarm indication. The controller has a 16 character alphanumeric back-lit LCD which can accept 24 analogue/digital signals. For vessels with more than 24 tanks a second controller can be accommodated in the same steel stove enamelled enclosure or alternatively be console mounted. The MMS200 stainless steel pressure sensors monitor in the range -500mm to +2,000mm Wg and can handle a maximum working pressure of three times that of the normal working range, says Martek.
