Mipo adds more newbuilding capacity

Hyundai Mipo Dockyard has recently added one more dock for newbuilding, No. 1 dock, which had been used for ship repair. The shipbuilder has already laid the first two keels for a pair of product carriers at this dock. These are a 47,000DWT product carrier ordered by OMI and a 52,800DWT product carrier from Western Petroleum.

A 200 tonne jib crane for No. 1 Dock will be installed later this month with a second one during May.
