Mipo names a product carrier

A naming ceremony was recently carried out at South Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Mipo for a 46,000dwt product carrier (Hull No 0201) ordered by Novoship of Russia. Named Rudy, this newbuilding is the first of a four-ship series ordered in May 2002. Ship particulars are 183 metres long, 32.20 metres wide and 18.80 metres depth and a service speed of 14.6 knots. Delivery will take place on 9 February.
