More newbuilds for Chinese yards

Guangzhou Shipyard snaps up two 38,500DWT product carriers from Pancoast in Greece for delivery in March and July, 2008. They will be built as Boston beam size.

Wuchang Shipyard has won three platform supply vessels (VS483 design) from Toisa in Greece. Ship particulars are 87.4m in length, 19m in breadth and 8m in depth with a draft of 6.65m.

Jiangsu Yangzijiang Shipyard clinches four 13,000DWT multi purpose bulk carriers from a German ship owner. Ship particulars are 133.4m in length, 21m in breadth and 11m in depth. They can sail at the speed of 14 knots. Two of them will be delivered during 2007 and two more in 2008.
