NASSCO wins T-AKE number 10

General Dynamics NASSCO, a unit of defense contractor General Dynamics Corp, said it was awarded a $460 million contract to build a tenth T-AKE dry cargo ammunition ship and buy materials for an eleventh. Construction on the tenth ship is due to start in January 2009, with delivery planned for the fourth quarter of 2010.
