NCL orders another Papenburg sister
Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany, is to build another cruise ship for the US cruise operator Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) for delivery in early October 2007. The newbuilding is a sister ship to ?Norwegian Jewel? which is currently under construction and will be completed in August 2005. This 93,000gt vessel is 264 metres long, 32.2 metres wide, and can accommodate almost 2,400 passengers. By the year 2007, NCL will have eight ships in their fleet built by Meyer Werft.
