New Dutch watermaker company established

Importer
Reverse osmosis unit from van den Bout

The Netherlands-based company was established by Maarten van den Bout, founder of Evatec, which claims some 35 years of experience in the field of fresh water makers. Van den Bout is producing its own stainless steel fresh water generators for ships and other applications. The range includes reverse osmosis systems with stainless steel frames and pumps, including new-generation control-and monitoring systems, and green energy recovery (GER) technology. The GER system produces electricity, and the company says it will be able to take the place of small gensets.

Most of the company’s production, including pressure vessels for the hydrophore systems, is carried out in house, which van den Bout says gives it flexibility to meet customer demands and enables it to offer spare parts and worldwide service. The company aims to offer better quality and price than its nearest competitors, though use of premium components and in-house manufacturing.

The company has formed a strategic marketing alliance with RSCC Marine and Systems, which is said to offer many years experience in sales, design, engineering and commissioning for the global offshore industry.
