A third Havyard 820 package for Atlantic Offshore

This will be Atlantic’s third Havyard 820, for which the Havyard Group will deliver a design and equipment package. “This confirms that we together with Atlantic Offshore has succeeded in giving the ship the features and functions that Shell appreciates,” said Gisle Vinjevoll Thrane, sales manager at Havyard Global Solutions.

The 66.8m Havyard 820 has been developed to meet the specific requirements for a standby vessel. Atlantic has ordered other Havyard vessels, including the Havyard 832 Ocean Pride, in February 2012.

“We have been close partners with Shell UK for many years and see it as a vote of confidence that they are expanding their partnership with us. We already have two Havyard 820 standby vessels under construction in Spain and will now build another to order to serve this long-term contract. It is not decided where the third ship will be built,” said Roy Wareberg, CEO of Atlantic Offshore.
