Lilaas electronically-controlled LO1 lever technology

Developed in-house by the Lilaas design team, the new versions are ‘operator-friendly’ and have a ground-breaking integrated electronics shaft system.

Terje Akerholt, sales and marketing manager, Lilaas, said: “This will give end users and system integrators a number of significant advantages. When an electronic shaft system is used to control the motors a large external box is also needed, one for each lever, which is a very expensive solution. With the latest option for the LO1 we will be able to deliver levers with motors and electronic shaft system integrated.”

As well as significant space savings and a reduction in cabling and hardware costs, the solution will also simplify maintenance. Furthermore, it means that the LO1 lever can be more easily assimilated into customer systems.

The electronic LO1 lever, which is available with or without a display, communicates either via an open CAN BUS protocol or standard analogue signals. Lilaas has already prepared LO1 hardware for other interfaces, including Profibus, Ethernet and USB, and the final software solutions for these options will be developed in collaboration with customers.

The company’s extensive range of LO1 levers can be customised to meet very customer specific operational needs.
