New Polish repair yard gets off the ground

The new shiprepair yard has a 350m wharf and a 240m x 40m Panamax-size drydock with a 500 tonne gantry crane and 80t, 45t and 25t cranes.

Recently, the yard performed emergency afloat repair on the 287m long bulk carrier Genco Hadrian of Anglo Eastern Ship Management, Hong Kong, and docked the Dynacom managed 2006-built 70,377dwt tanker Ice Energy for her first special survey. The similar Dynacom tanker Fidelity had her first special survey at the yard in the second half of last year. Two vessels of the same type were expected to be docked in June 2011.

The company also fabricates large structures for the oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation, nuclear power and renewable energy (offshore wind) industries, and ports.
