New ship repair facility in China

Daeyang Shipping in South Korea plans to build a ship repair facility in the Dagoshan Zone of Dalian Development Area in China. Total space of Dalian Daeyang Shipbuilding Corp will be 550,000 m2. The ship repair facilities will include a 200,000DWT dry dock, a 150,000DWT dry dock and five wharfs. Total investment is $98 million and Daeyang will be the sole owner.
