New Vulkan subsidiary in Australia

The new company, Vulkan Australia Pty, has been representing all three divisions of the Vulkan Couplings group, Vulkan Drive Tech and Vulkan Lokring, since 1 January 2013.

The group, which has had several years of successful presence in the Australian market through its branch office, Vulkan Industries Far East, hopes the new company will reinforce its sales activity in Australia.

Stephen Samson, managing director of the new subsidiary, which is located in Sydney, said: “As far as the future of Vulkan Australia is concerned, I shall focus on the growing business in marine couplings and the increasing demand in the Vulkan Lokring business division. I would like to launch the products of Vulkan Drive Tech for industrial drive technology in the Australian market – primarily in the sectors of underground and surface mining.”

Dieter Klitzke, sales director, Vulkan Couplings, added: “I am pleased that we have been able to gain an internationally successful expert in Stephen Samson for sales and marketing who clearly understands the requirements of our customers based on his several years of experience in diverse roles and his comprehensive technical expertise.
