NLNG takes delivery of number ten

Bonny Gas Transport Limited (BGT), a subsidiary of Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG), has taken delivery of its 10th vessel. Named LNG Akwa Ibom,,the newbuilding is the first of four vessels ordered by BGT for NLNG’s trains 4 and 5, which is called NLNG Plus, and was built by Hyundai Heavy Industries with a cargo capacity of 141,000 cubic metres.

NLNG will charter an additional four ships from Bergesen D.y.ASA, Norway to complete the eight-ship requirement for the NLNGPlus expansion.
