Olympic PSV for Brattvaag

Aker Brattvaag, a company in the Aker Yards Group, has been awarded a contract worth approximately $37 million by Olympic Shipping to build a Platform Supply Vessel of the MT 6016 type.

Delivery from Brattvaag Skipsverft is scheduled for March 2006. The vessel will be approximately 93 metres long, with a beam of 19.70 metres, a dead-weight of 4 700 tonnes and accommodation capacity for 50 persons. Capable of operating in the Barents Sea, the newbuilding will have DnV notifications as DEICE C, Oil Rec and Stby. In addition, the vessel will have a helideck, a 100 tonne crane and a 150 tonne A-frame.
