The site shows the evolution of industrial, military and marine mothballing as well as the cocooning techniques for ship mothballing, including the temporary lay-up of oil tankers during the energy crises, including the component and interior protection used for Exxon Valdez during its post-oil-spill restoration.

The site contains specifications for desiccant de-humidifiers ranging in capacity from 15cfm to 2,225cfm. There is also details of vapour corrosion inhibitors designed to provide corrosion protection when used as sprays, coatings, vapours, powders and oil additives.
