One-stop message and data application

Globe Wireless has introduced the Globe Communications Centre, which it says provides a one-stop program for onboard communication needs. The system features a single interface that handles all messaging and data transfer and its least cost routing capability helps the user determine the most cost-effective means to send the message, via satellite or via the global radio network, says Globe.

The software is designed for sending and receiving messages, which can also include binary file attachments such as word processing documents and spreadsheets, and automatically controls most popular models of HF radio equipment, says Globe. Messages can be sent to/from any shore destination using email, fax, telex or telegram.
