OceanConnect.com, the online marketplace for the purchase and sale of marine fuels, announced that the company has reached the million-ton milestone for bunkers sold. Container company Neptune Orient Lines created the transaction that put OceanConnect over the million-ton landmark. The company?s enquiry generated 14 bids by four suppliers. It was closed online with a bid accepted from Fuel and Marine Marketing. Market information available on the site includes daily bunker pricing, weekly bunker market reports, forward price indications and average price charts.
