Piping modules added

Fern Computer Consultancy has announced new modules for its piping design and analysis software, CADWorx and Caesar II.

The piping instrumentation diagram application CADWorx/P&ID Version 3.1 will have features that have been requested by its customers, says Fern, including the facility for automatic instrument loops.

The company`s 3D piping models, 2D drawings and isometrics application CADWorx/PIPE Version 3.1 will have many of its features fully automated, says Fern. The release also includes an extension of the user-customised shape creation facility which, says the company, requires no special programming skills.

The pipe stress analysis software Caesar II Version 4.2 will contain comprehensive routines for sub-sea piping analysis including wave effects in addition to a new graphics interface using a true 3D library, says Fern.
