Poland backs Viet Nam

Viet Nam is an important partner for Poland?s development strategy, said Polish Prime Minister Marek Belka at a business forum held by the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the Polish embassy in Ha Noi. Belka said that, with a population of 80 million, Viet Nam is a strong potential market for Polish exports.

At the forum, a $200 million contract to transfer Polish shipbuilding technology to Viet Nam?s shipbuilder Vinashin was agreed. Under the contract, Polish partners will help Vinashin to transfer technology and train experts in shipbuilding.
