Port sea performance module

Software company SpecTec has designed a port sea performance module for Jo Tankers. It will be integrated with the AMOS Quality management system to give it enhanced reporting capabilities as well as keeping track of documentation, says SpecTec. AMOS Quality is designed to aid compliance with ISM certification requirements by controlling documentation and administration of safety and management procedures.

The module will also be integrated with the Shipnet SNOPS system so that all information sent from Jo Tankers` office to the vessel, originates in SNOPS and passes through the office version of AMOS Quality before being sent to the vessel`s AMOS Quality system. This means that all information is entered into the SNOPS system and is made available on board, where the operator fills in details regarding arrival, shifting and departure, as well as cargo activities, says SpecTec. The system, to be implemented this summer, will be marketed to all SNOPS customers.
