Propulsion & Emissions Conference 2012

Organised by Mercator Media Ltd, the conference is entitled Are you ready for 2015? and it will present case studies, solutions and answers to help ensure fleets comply with 0.1% sulphur limits coming into effect in ECAs in 2015.

The conference will open with a welcome address by Mr Achim Wehrmann, the Director of Shipping at the Federal Ministry of Transport, Germany. Keynote speeches will include Maximilian Strotmann, Cabinet of Vice President Siim Kallas, European Commission and Andreas Chrysostomou, Chairman MEPC, IMO.

Technical presentations will include impact from an operators’ perspective by Ernst Russ, Ardmore Shipping and DFDS. Also, there will be a focus on technology and fuel solutions, exhaust gas cleaning, lubricants, other power solutions and compliance, management and enforcement.

Delegates will be able to network informally at the conference dinner on the 23 May.
