Quintana gets Pascha

Athens-based Quintana Maritime Limited has taken delivery of a Kamsarmax bulk carrier, named Pascha, from the Japanese shipbuilder Tsuneishi. Pascha has a carrying capacity of 82,300 DWT and is the tenth of the fourteen Kamsarmax vessels the company has agreed to acquire from Metrobulk.

Stamatis Molaris, President and Chief Executive Officer of Quintana Maritime, commented, “We are pleased to take delivery within schedule of Pascha, the twelfth out of the seventeen vessels we have agreed to acquire from Metrobulk. We are also on schedule to take delivery of an additional vessel from Metrobulk by year-end 2006.”
