Ro-Ro order for Dae Sun

South Korean shipbuilder Dae Sun Shipbuilding & Engineering recently won a contract with a compatriot shipowner to build a new Ro-Ro vessel. This is Dae Sun’s first newbuilding order in twelve months and is slated for delivery in October 2010.

The $16 m newbuilding will be deployed in the shipment of steel materials and is reported to have a 7,000 gt capacity.
